Playing at the park

Madeleine loves going to the park, she will say swing swing over and over until I give in and take her to the park. Good thing we have a park only steps away from our backyard. I love seeing her imagination start to take off, the concrete climber became a horsey while she was on it, or as she calls them nooks! =)

Turned into a horsey

giving horsey a hug

Giddy-up horsey!

Baking Bread

I think it's safe to say, I have a little baker. We made Zucchini bread with raisins which was amazing! (http://www.yummly.com/recipe/Zucchini-Bread-Ii-Allrecipes) . Madeleine added everything and stirred everything..okay I had to "finish" the stirring.  All I can say baking with a child needs a lot of patience =)

Chalk Painting

My little Artist
Madeleine loves to paint, so I decided to make chalk paint! I grated some chalk added some water and vola you have chalk paint. She was painting for over an hour.

New words and sentences and Milestones

~ Madeleine has been calling horses Nooks. I have no idea why.

~ Will say "here you go, mama" and hand me something. Sometimes it's something she shouldn't have, or it will be a book she wants me to read her.

~ I told Madeleine there are people on Air planes and she said Poopy for people.

~ My sausage on my plate looks like poopy to Madeleine! that one is so funny to me.

~ Can reach everything on the counter! even Knifes, Madeleine got a knife and cut holes in the patio screen door. ( I really have to be careful now)

Cooking lesson

I've been wanting to get Madeleine more involved in the kitchen ( with hopes it will lessen her whining for me to play with her while I'm cooking).  She is intensely interested in cooking and she loves to stir! what a great way to get her to help, then with mixing the eggs for breakfast. Children learn best when they are having fun and are involved.

Stir, stir, stir

Mommy's little helper

Mommy was sick with the flu, so I had to find ways to entertain Madeleine. Toddlers love to help and I was all for her help that day!

washing her foot, I guess it was dirty too.
